Group 1: Protista

FACTS:

-They are mostly unicellular but some can be multicellular.
-They are eukaryotic.
-Most reproduce by cell division.
-Some get energy from the Sun, and nutrients from water around them, while others get nutrients and energy by eating other organisms.

EXAMPLES:

-Paramecium
-Amoeba
-Kelp
-Euglena

    The term protista was first used by the one called
    Ernst Haeckel in 1866

    The Protists can live in almost any environment that contains liquid water.
